Wayne played 21 years of pro hockey; He is generally said to be the best player in the history of the NHL and has been called "the greatest hockey player ever" by many sportswriters, players, and coaches. On his retirement on April 18, 1999, he held forty regular-season records, fifteen playoff records, and six records He is the only NHL player to total over 200 points in one season, that he accomplished four times. In addition, he had over 100 points in 15 NHL seasons, 13 of them consecutive. That’s why I think Wayne is number one in the world.

Bobby was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP for 2 years. Winning a record eight Norris Trophies as the league's best defenceman, Orr is often credited for domanating his position. He remains the only defenceman to have won the league scoring title with two Art Ross Trophies and holds the record for most points and assists in a single season by a defenceman. That’s why I think Orr is number 2 on my list.

Howe is often referred to as Mr. Hockey, and is generally regarded as one of the greatest hockey players of all time.Being most famous for his scoring, physical strength, and the leingth of his career, Howe is the only player to have competed in the NHL in five (1940s through 1980s) different decades. A four-time Stanley Cup champion with the Red Wings, he won six Hart Trophies as the league's most valuable player and six Art Ross Trophies as the leading scorer. He was the recipient of the first NHL Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008. All the these players are alike they have great drive for the game and know how to score goals. That’s why I think Wayne, Bobby, And Howe are the top 3 hockey players in the world.
